Pilot Positions 1. Black Hawk Co-pilot/Captains - We have openings for two co-pilot/captains in training positions. These positions require at minimum a commercial pilots license with a valid second class medical. We are looking for applicants that have either a Black Hawk background or experience in the helicopter fire fighting industry. These are training positions that we use for grooming potential new aircraft captains. This position includes seasonal travel mostly during the summer months. These are full time or seasonal positions depending upon candidates qualifications and type of position desired. Pay is industry competitive and benefits include medical, profit sharing, and vacation plus holidays, per diem ($50 a day), and company provided hotels. Equipment is Sikorsky S-70C's (UH-60A) and Sikorsky S-70A's (UH-60L). Drug and background Checks required. We are an EOE company and being Florida based we are a non smoking work environment. 2. Astar Pilot - Desire a candidate with at least 1500 hrs PIC helicopter with 100 hours or more in AS-350/355 Series. AS-350B3 a plus and we would give preference to pilots with fire fighting/long line or external load experience. We will consider and train candidates that do not possess such a background but have Astar as well as Black Hawk experience. This is a full time position with seasonal possibility. This position includes travel during spring and summer to early fall months. Competitive industry pay is linked to experience so higher starting pay is given for more experience based on time in type, total time, utility experience and any USFS or AMD qualifications (cards) etc. Additional Pay includes extra days, extended availability (for hours worked over 9 hours a day - currently $39-$41 an hour). Includes medical, profit sharing, vacation, holidays, per diem ($50 a day) and company provided hotels. This is a dual rated position meaning possibility of cross training into Black Hawk as captain or co-pilot is possible. Equipment is a 2001 AS-350B3 Astar. Drug and background checks required. Mechanic Positions
1. Black Hawk Mechanic Lead. Individuals must be able to work away from base on a day to day basis (in a field environment) and manage a maintenance crew. The position travels part of the year and requires OAS/USFS carding. Requirements for this carding are possession of an FAA A&P for two years and school training and at least three months of field maintenance conditions away from a base or at least 12 months experience on type. Must posses or be eligible to obtain a CDL (Excessive driving tickets or DUI usually exclude eligibility for license or insurance.) Applicant must have S-70/UH-60 experience to include daily operational and maintenance duties on the aircraft and phase or major inspection, maintenance and repair. This is a full time job that requires relocation to this area and includes seasonal travel primarily during the late spring and summer months.
